When An Athlete Registers

When an athlete registers you will pay a MAC team registration fee ($50), a MPS Facility fee ($30) and your athlete's first month's dues at the time of registration.  When your athlete is approved and placed on the roster the account you will receive an email and have access to your account.  After that you will fall into our normal billing cycle, which is detailed below.

Each swimmer must also register as a member of USA Swimming. Instructions to register with USA Swimming wil be sent to each family once the MAC regsitration process has been completed and approved.

Registration fees cannot be refunded. In cases of illness or personal injury, exceptions may be made based on fees submitted to USA Swimming and MPS at owner's discretion.

Registration Fees

United States Swimming Registration Fee- $82 per year* paid to USA Swimming via online registration by all swimmers upon joining the team and each September thereafter. This is a required fee to register the swimmer with United States Swimming. Club swimmer should select the premium membership when given the option. MAC Team Registration Fee- $50 per season*: Collected by MAC. $50 when you join and then at the beginning of each season thereafter (on 9/1 and 4/1).

Mesa Public Schools Facility Fee- $30 per athlete, per quarter*: collected by MAC and paid to MPS. $30 when you join and then collected every January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, October 1st thereafter, for each athlete.

* USA Registration, MAC Team Registration & MPS facility fees are non-refundable and are not prorated!

Monthly Team Fees

Billed automatically and due on the 1st of each month.  Please review your account each month to ensure that your account will bill properly on the 1st.

- There is a 5% discount for 2nd swimming sibling after the first full paid swimmer in a family, 10% for 3rd, and 15% for 4th with a family "cap" of $450 per month.

- Families who elect to pay seasonally (Fall- August 1st, Spring- December 1st, Summer- April 1st) will receive a 10% discount on monthly dues.

- Monthly dues are billed automatically on the 1st of each month through the MAC auto-pay system. There is a .03% credit card processing fee when that billing is processed.

-New families will set up their payment arrangements upon joining the team through the Team Unify website.

- Monthly/seasonal dues are non-refundable.  Exceptions may be made for cases of illness or personal injury at the owner's discretion.

- We have a Post Grad program for athletes who are graduated from high school. This group pays an annual fee of $300 and must be registered with USA Swimming. No service hours are required for this group.

Accounts that have signed up for auto-pay are charged a $10 bank processing fee if the credit card/account on file is declined at the time of billing. There is a $20 fee for checks returned for non-sufficient funds. All accounts that are not paid in full by the 10th of each month are subject to a $10 late fee and the athlete not being allowed to continue training until payment has been received.

Meet Fees

Swimmers who choose to participate in swim meets will be charged for the meet based on the specific fees for that meet. Families can expect to pay a $7 MAC surcharge and a $8 LSC surcharge per athlete per meet and typically anywhere from $3-$10 per individual event (out of state meets tend to be more).  These fees will be included in the monthly charges billed out on the 1st of each month for those members using auto-pay. If not on auto-pay the meet entry fees are due prior to swimming in the meet.

Please note that if you have declared your swimmer's participation in a meet you will be charged for those meet fees regardless of your swimmer's actual participation at the meet (MAC is charged by the host team once the meet entries are sent in prior to the start of the event and are always non-refundable).

Membership Cancellation and Holds, Late Fees & Penalties

Please note that MAC requires that those wishing to suspend their team participation either permanently or for a specific period of time must contact a team administrator to fill out the proper paperwork.  Mesa Aquatics Club requires that any changes to account status be given in writing via the MAC Online Cancelation/ Suspension Notice Form. All cancellations are subject to a 30-day notice policy.  Registration fees are non-refundable.

How To Register

Before you register, an evaluation with one of our coaches will be required for placement. Schedule with Head Coach Meg Zajdzinski at [email protected].

For a New Account:

• Go to mesaaquaticsclub.com

• Click Joining Us on the left hand side of the screen

• Press the green Continue or Check Status button at the bottom of that page

• Click the green Create New Account button on that page

• Create your account and follow the registration from there!

For Returning Swimmers or to Add a New Swimmer to an Existing Account:

• Go to mesaaquaticsclub.com don't log in

• Click Joining Us on the left hand side of the screen

• Press the green Continue or Check Status button at the bottom of that page

• Log into your account

• Reactivate or add a swimmer to your account from there!

Team Breaks

Mesa Aquatics Club typically takes a break at the end of each season.  Short Course break usually falls in March and the Long Course break in August.  We also take short breaks for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Dues remain the same for each month.
