Start by navigating to the main "Events" section on our website. This is where all upcoming meets and team events are listed.

Identify the Specific Meet

Browse the list to find the upcoming meet you're interested in. Click on the name of the meet, not the buttons.

Access the "Meet Information" Document

Each meet listing will have a PDF link underneath the forms/documents section. Click this to open the detailed PDF document.

Key Details to Find in the Document:

  • Meet Name, Dates, & Location: Full address of the pool.
  • Warm-Up Time: Specific times for different age groups or sessions. Arrive on time!
  • Session Start Times: When the actual competition for each session begins.
  • Order of Events: The sequence in which events will be swum.
  • Entry Deadlines & Fees: Crucial for timely registration.
  • Eligibility: Any age restrictions, qualifying times, or specific groups invited.
  • Facility Information: Notes on parking, spectator seating, concessions, etc.
  • Awards & Scoring: How the meet will be scored and what awards are given.

Understanding Swim Meet Lingo (Quick Guide)

  • Psych Sheet: A list of swimmers entered in each event, usually ranked by their entry ("seed") times.
  • Heat Sheet: The actual lane assignments for each swimmer in each event and heat. Often sold at the meet.
  • Timeline: An estimated schedule of when each event will start. This is an estimate and can change.
  • Qualifying Times (QTs): Minimum times needed to be eligible for certain meets or events.
  • Bonus Events: Occasional bonus races for qualifying in certain events.
