Mesa Aquatics Club is offering stroke development classes and recreation in the Fall of 2024. August - October
Fall Learn to swim: The Learn to Swim represents the entry point into MAC teaching water skills and is offered to children 3-5 years. The main focus of this group will be on instruction for first time swimmers getting comfortable with the water if they are not yet independent. Practices will emphasize fun and learning. Swimmers may use kickboards and fins that are provided. Swimmers should bring their own swim goggles. Minimum of 2 swimmers. 6 lessons total.
Fall 2024 Sessions T/TH 3:30-4pm
Fall Splish The Splish Group represents the entry point into MAC. Teaching swim skills and is offered to children 4 years and older.The main focus of this group will be on instruction in freestyle and backstroke. Practices will emphasize fun and learning. A primary objective will be developing a strong and consistent kick. Swimmers will use kickboards and fins that are provided. Swimmers should bring their own swim goggles. Splish is a 30 minute class. In the Fall, we are offering 3 T/TH sessions. A Minimum of 3 students must be registered to run the class.
Fall 2024 Sessions T/Th, 4:00-4:30 pm
Fall Splash:The main focus of this group will be on learning proper stroke technique in all four strokes. Practices will emphasize fun and learning. A primary objective will be developing a strong and consistent kick in all four strokes. Splash is a 45 minute class. We are offering 3 T/Th sessions. A Minimum of 3 students must be registered to run the class.
